Learn how to bring the Massachusetts Personal and Home State Training (PHCAST) to your community. This Train-the-Trainer workshop is for home care agencies that want access to this curriculum to train their own Homemakers and Personal Care Homemakers. It is also intended for community colleges, vocational technical high schools, and other organizations seeking to incorporate entry-level career ladder material for individuals in the home health aide and nurse aide training. The ABCs for Direct Care Workers/PHCAST is a comprehensive curriculum that prepares learners to become certified Homemakers or Personal Care Homemakers in Massachusetts. Note: All PHCAST training materials are the property of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS). PHCAST training materials may not be modified or utilized to facilitate for-profit endeavors. The program will meet the requirements of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing at 244 CMR 5.00 for 3 contact hours.
