Strength in Innovation: Lessons from Our Regional Member Meetings

Fall Regional Meetings Spark Connection and Resolve Across Massachusetts

Over the past two weeks, the Alliance team met with members in Gardner and Dartmouth for our fall regional meetings. Hearing your stories—your challenges, your hopes, and your drive to adapt—was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

In Gardner, one member summed it up perfectly:

“For a long time, we believed that delivering great care would be enough. But we’ve learned the hard truth: no money, no mission. To survive, we have to innovate.”

That insight wasn’t just a warning—it was a call to lead with courage, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. Across both meetings, the message was clear: innovation, collaboration, and advocacy must go hand in hand if we are to build a strong and sustainable future for care at home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in person, shared your experiences, and engaged in thoughtful discussion. We left each meeting inspired—energized to keep fighting for the resources, recognition, and respect that your work deserves.

Together, we are building the future of care at home—one conversation, one innovation, one community at a time.
