The session also provides practical techniques for managing emotional escalation in the moment, improving communication, and responding with greater clarity and professionalism.

Cindy Posey is the founder of Cindy Posey Consulting, an executive coaching and consulting practice serving senior leaders across industries. Her clients come to her to do the kind of work that moves the needle: managing emotions under pressure, navigating organizational uncertainty, and becoming the leader others want to follow.

Before founding her practice, Cindy spent years leading internal and crisis communications at a major university. That background informs everything she does. She understands what it means to operate under scrutiny, communicate clearly when the stakes are high, and lead through ambiguity.

Her practice is grounded in a clear philosophy: coaching is not therapy, and the best coaching is both rigorous and humane. She maintains firm boundaries around clinical work and refers out when deeper support is needed - a reflection of her family’s deep roots in the mental health field and her commitment to doing right by clients.

Beyond her coaching practice, Cindy serves on two education-focused foundation boards serving underserved communities and holds a statewide board role with a global organization dedicated to curbing political violence.
