Whether you're new to the role, refining your skills, or mentoring others, this course provides practical strategies to align care delivery with CMS Conditions of Participation, HHVBP goals, and the principles of patient-centered care.

Kim Portello, PT, COS-C  Kim Portello is a Senior Healthcare Leader and Certified OASIS Specialist with more than 35 years of experience in home health and hospice care. Kim is currently the Associate Director of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs at the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts.  Before her current role at HCA, Kim held progressive leadership roles at Hebrew SeniorLife, including Rehab Manager, Director of Clinical Operations, and, most recently, Director of Quality and Patient Safety. Kim is recognized for advancing compliance, quality, and patient outcomes, including leading deficiency-free Department of Public Health surveys, improving CMS star ratings, and achieving success in Medicare audits. She has extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and staff education and has partnered with clinicians and leadership teams to drive organizational performance. A licensed physical therapist, Kim is passionate about empowering staff and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in post-acute care.
