Program Guide Advertising Requirements

File Formats

Accepted formats:

• PDF (preferred; fonts embedded)
• JPG, PNG, GIF (static only)
• Adobe formats: InDesign (INDD/IDML with links & fonts), Illustrator (AI/EPS), Photoshop (PSD/TIFF)

Accepted but not recommended:

• PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, Excel

Not accepted:

• Freehand, Corel Draw, Paint, Quark

Resolution & Image Quality

• Minimum resolution: 300 dpi
• Preferred resolution: 600 dpi (required for full-page ads)
• All grayscale and color images must be at least 300 dpi
• Full-page ads: minimum 600 dpi
• Web images are not suitable for print

Ad Sizes (No Bleed)

• Full Page (portrait): 8” x 10.5”
• Half Page (landscape): 8” x 4.75”
• Quarter Page (portrait): 3.75” x 4.75”
• Eighth Page (landscape): 3.75” x 2.25”

Artwork Guidelines

• Vector files should be saved as EPS with fonts/images embedded, or include all supporting files
• All fonts must be supplied or converted to outlines
• If outlined text results in errors, revised artwork will be required
• Recommended minimum font size: 10 pt (varies by font for readability)
• GIF files may display at lower resolution due to compression

Digital Version

• Provide the URL the ad should link to
• Email addresses may be used as a clickable link

Placement

• Premium Sponsors: may request preferred placement (not guaranteed)
