TACPAC Task Force Completes Work Last year, Alliance Executive Director, Jake Krilovich, was appointed to the Massachusetts Transitions from Acute to Post-Acute Care (TACPAC) Task Force. The task force was charged with examining barriers and solutions to patients transitioning from acute to post-acute care settings. This work ranged from provider challenges to regulatory/payer issues which bottleneck the entire system. The Task Force made a series of recommendations, with significant focus on streamlining payer prior authorization processes and investments in the workforce and public awareness of community-based resources.
