Massachusetts Home Health & Hospice Agencies Honored for Outstanding Patient and Family Experience

Boston, MA — The Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts is proud to recognize several member agencies across the Commonwealth that have been nationally honored through the 2024 SHPBest™ Awards for their exceptional patient and caregiver experience in both home health and hospice care.

Presented by Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP), the SHPBest™ Awards identify top-performing providers based on satisfaction scores from over 3,200 home health and 1,800 hospice agencies nationwide. The program evaluates data from the HHCAHPS and CAHPS Hospice surveys—two of the most rigorous benchmarks for quality in post-acute care. Providers in the top 5% receive the Premier Performer award, while those in the top 20% receive Superior Performer recognition.

This year’s award recipients include several standout Massachusetts agencies, with Norwell-based NVNA and Hospice and Community Nurse Home Care in Fairhaven achieving a particularly rare milestone: five consecutive years of SHPBest™ recognition.
