Jake Krilovich Reappointed to Massachusetts Health Policy Commission Advisory Council
Reappointment ensures care at home remains represented in statewide health policy discussions
Jake Krilovich, CEO of the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts, has been reappointed to the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission (HPC) Advisory Council for the 2026–2027 term, positioning the care-at-home sector within ongoing statewide policy and cost-containment discussions.
The Advisory Council brings together senior leaders from across the health care system to advise the Commission on market trends, affordability challenges, and system performance. The group’s work is expected to take on added significance as Massachusetts implements expanded oversight authority established under 2025 health care legislation.
Krilovich’s reappointment comes at a time of increasing focus on cost growth, workforce constraints, and access to care—particularly as more services shift into home-based settings. His continued role on the Council ensures that home care providers are represented in conversations shaping payment policy, resource planning, and care delivery models.
The HPC is advancing several major initiatives, including the launch of the Office of Pharmaceutical Policy and Analysis and the Office of Health Resource Planning, as well as ongoing work through the Behavioral Health Workforce Center and statewide task forces on primary care and maternal health.
With approximately 40% of Massachusetts residents reporting health care affordability challenges, the Advisory Council is expected to play a key role in informing policy direction and identifying strategies to improve access and system sustainability.
Krilovich’s continued appointment reinforces the role of home-based care providers in shaping Massachusetts’ evolving health care policy and delivery system.
