HouseWorks Holdings has acquired Rhode Island–based home care provider A Caring Experience, expanding its presence in New England. The acquisition marks HouseWorks’ first transaction in Rhode Island and its twelfth deal since 2022, when InTandem Capital made a majority investment in the company.

A Caring Experience, founded in 1999 and based in Cranston, provides home care services across Rhode Island and operates a caregiver training school. Woburn-based HouseWorks provides home care and related services across multiple states and currently serves approximately 30,000 clients with a workforce of about 20,000 caregivers.

Company leaders said the partnership will allow A Caring Experience to maintain its local leadership while benefiting from HouseWorks’ broader infrastructure and resources.
