We are proud to recognize Alliance Board Member Gertrude Mageza, CEO of  Purple Nurse Home Care Services , for her leadership and lasting impact on the home care community.

Gertrude turned her vision into reality during the height of the pandemic, building Purple Nurse Home Care Services from the ground up during one of the most challenging periods the field has faced.

With support from Alliance allied business partner  21st Century Consultants , she recently shared her firsthand experience—from startup through sustainability—on the Home Care Today podcast, offering practical insight into what it takes to build and grow a home care agency in Massachusetts.

In addition to leading her own organization, Gertrude serves as a mentor for the  Leadership Circle , a monthly networking group dedicated to supporting new and scaling home care agencies across the Commonwealth.

We celebrate Gertrude not only for what she has built, but for the example she sets—and for her commitment to sharing real-world experience to strengthen the next generation of agency owners and leaders.
