Next Friday, August 29th, is the last day to submit formal comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in opposition to their fourth consecutive year of proposed cuts to Medicare Home Health Payments. 

 

As we have done in each of the previous three years, it takes all of us to submit comments to CMS with insight to how these proposals will impact your operations and ability to continue serving home health patients.

Whether you are a new private pay home care agency or a hospice provider - I encourage us all to stand up and lend our voice in this fight. Even if Medicare payment cuts won't impact your agency directly, we have to unite as an industry and make CMS aware that their decision in one segment of the care at home delivery system does have negative effects on other segments.
