Next Monday, June 30^th, is the deadline to complete the 2025 Massachusetts Health Care Workforce Survey. This project is a partnership between HCA, the Centers for Health and Information Analysis, and nine other Massachusetts healthcare sectors to analyze workforce capacity and inform policy and program development. The report is open to certified and non-certified agencies. We have relied on the data from the 2023 report in many of our advocacy efforts, as it is in partnership with the State, and thus has credibility among state policymakers. 

Unfortunately, participation this year is below the 2023 survey response rate. In the next day, CHIA and its research contractor, JSI, will issue reminders to CEOs to complete the survey, and I hope you will. As a reward for participating, CHIA will develop a tailored benchmark report to compare your agency's data with the rest of the responses and sectors. 

I have written about this report a couple of times and urged participation. I'm dedicating this space this week to this reminder because I feel this report is so important to our collective efforts in advocacy and policy development.
