Home care and hospice providers in Massachusetts face many challenges—one of the most pressing is retaining and recruiting qualified personnel. Accurate data can help your agency address this critical issue.
For years, HCA has partnered with Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) to survey Massachusetts home care and hospice agencies on compensation and fringe benefits. This is the only survey providing comprehensive, Massachusetts-specific wage and benefit data alongside regional and national benchmarks. Results are published each fall in the HCS Home Care Salary & Benefits Report and HCS Hospice Salary & Benefits Report.
We are collecting rates for employees paid hourly, per visit, PRN/per diem, as well as contracted 1099 clinicians.
Your participation ensures the final report reflects Massachusetts’ unique marketplace—with representation from Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Pay/licensed-only agencies—and captures important geographical variations.
Participation is open to all Massachusetts home care and hospice providers, regardless of HCA membership. Please share with peers.

- Submit your completed questionnaire by August 25
