Commonwealth Care Alliance provided some updates its monthly call with Home Care Alliance this week. Among the most important is that CCA continues to work through settling unpaid claims. CCA also informed HCA that it has identified issues with UD Modifiers for certified home health agencies who have not applied the UD modifier on claims and will need to re-bill. CCA will grant providers between 60 and 120 days (depending on the number of claims this applies to for a provider) to resubmit claims. CCA is also targeting July 2026 for a series of changes to its policies and procedures as a result of its acquisition by CareSource earlier this year. CCA has pledged to provide information, education and training in the lead up to those changes.
