On August 29, CMS announced that the Hospice Provider Preview Reports for the upcoming November 2025 Care Compare refresh contained an error. The original release omitted claims-based measure indicators. CMS has corrected the issue and re-released the reports.

Where to Access
The revised reports are now available in the CASPER (Certification and Survey Provider Enhanced Reports) system.

• CAHPS measures: Q1 2023 – Q4 2024
• CAHPS Star Ratings: Q4 2022 – Q3 2024
• Claims-based measures: Q1 2023 – Q4 2024

Preview & Download Window

• 30-day preview period: August 29 – September 29, 2025
• Reports will remain viewable in CASPER for 60 days total. Agencies are encouraged to download and save a copy for their records, as the reports will no longer be accessible in CASPER after the window closes.
