Compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations was required on April 14, 2003. Since the privacy rules were implemented, it has become clear that there are many misunderstandings or myths about what these regulations do and do not require. The purpose of this teleconference is to identify some common "myths" about HIPAA privacy requirements along with strategies that agencies can use to correct/combat these myths. There will be a special focus on access to information, an enforcement priority for the Office of Civil Rights. The emphasis will be on practical tools that agencies can take back to their offices for use whenever they encounter these common myths.

Pricing: $150 members; $225 non-members

PLEASE NOTE:

Registration fees are based on one phone connection; multiple site participation from your agency will be charged a separate registration fee for each.
