This presentation explores practical applications of artificial intelligence across home health and hospice operations—from referral and documentation management to predictive analytics, coding, and quality improvement. It highlights tools currently available in the market and how agencies can evaluate, adopt, and optimize AI solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance, and patient outcomes.

Three measurable objectives

• Identify key areas within home health and hospice operations where AI technologies are currently being implemented.
• Analyze the measurable impacts of AI adoption on workflow efficiency, clinical decision-making, and compliance outcomes.
• Evaluate strategies for integrating AI tools responsibly to support staff, enhance patient care, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Speakers:

Amy Waske Jo, PT PCC, Care Central VNA & Hospice, Inc. Amy brings more than 20 years of expertise ranging from direct patient care to operations and management. Amy has a firm background in healthcare data analytics, quality measures, and performance improvement. She is passionate about supporting clinicians and home health agencies in their efforts to optimize documentation, manage utilization, and improve outcomes. She currently serves as Chief Clinical and Strategy Officer at Care Central VNA & Hospice Inc. in Massachusetts. Amy is also currently pursuing her MBA in Healthcare Management from Clarkson University.

Kelly-Ann is a healthcare leader with more than 30 years of experience in home health, hospice, rehabilitation services, and clinical informatics. She has served at Care Central VNA & Hospice, Inc. since 1994, contributing to the organization’s growth through progressive leadership roles that integrate clinical expertise with operational leadership and healthcare technology.
