The Massachusetts Legislature is still enjoying its summer recess from formal session - but soon enough will be back on Beacon Hill. Given the new rules which govern each chamber, the next year will be a busy time for the legislative body. HCA continues to track and advocate for it's priority legislation on rate setting reform, and licensure for non-medical home care services which was sent from the Aging and Independence Committee to the Committee on Ways and Means. This is a signal that the legislation could advance this session.
